(1 of 7) It was 8:46am . . .

Updated: Sep 8, 2021

For those who were too young - or not yet born - 9/11/01 was a horrible day.

American Airlines Flight 11: a Boeing 767 aircraft, departed Boston's Logan Airport at 7:59 a.m. en route to Los Angeles with a crew of 11 and 76 passengers (this is not including the five hijackers). The hijackers were able to take over control of the plane and flew it into the northern façade of the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City at 8:46 a.m.

When it unfolded, the weather was beautiful, the hijackers were evil, and NYC was in shock as to what just happened. But, that didn't stop first responders, police and fire fighters from racing in to help. Sadly, so much more was about to unfold.

Everyone today knows there is so much more to this story . . . which will be continued on our OMF companion website ( https://outingmnfun.weebly.com/blog/2-of-7-it-was-903am ), tomorrow, Tuesday the 7th. For now, our prayers for all the innocent lives that were lost that day, and for their families who miss them. Thank you for reading the above and in following with us this week as we look back and remember 20 years ago.
