We all have heard that it is great to have self-confidence . . .

but are we all in agreement as to what that means? Consider these words . . .
“Either I will find a way or I will make one”. Philip Sidney is accredited for those words and as we ponder them, it is a good example of the core essence of self-confidence – but we should be careful, there is more to it.
For example . . . first, each of us need to understand what it is. And second, you have to believe it; call it determination, grit or whatever you want – if you don't believe that you have it – you don't. Third is to take action. If you need to do something that scares you, know this. The worst that can happen is if you try and fail, is that you at least tried and probably learned something in the process. Don't let regrets fester in your mind. Believe in yourself and start doing the things that you need to do. One way or another – something will unfold. And that is what moves us forward in life. Therefore, embrace self-confidence and don't forget that you can build it up – and a foundation of faith is a great place to start.
They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
