Is it within you (others can see it) or is this a challenge for you to take on? Consider this:

As we enjoy a great weather week up here in the 'North Country' . . . it is easy to be relaxed, appreciative, and to even be kind to others. But you know what? It is easy to think about being kind to others but most don't because they are focused on their challenges. But also know this – we have a lot of people across our country that are busy and/or possibly challenged on one to many fronts, yet they try to be kind to others as best they can, when they can, where they can.

Lesson learned – being kind is a choice. The challenge is in making it a choice to pursue. For example, Jackie Chan had a great insight for us all to embrace: 'Sometimes it takes only one act of kindness and caring to change a person's life.' So, choose it & do it . . . and then tomorrow (and each day after that), repeat as often as often as you can. Now, do we have to be kind every day? No, but wouldn't that be great if we all could?
Ephesians 4:32 . . . Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Afternoon addition: As I was going through my files, I found this quote that goes well in support of the above. Bianca Sparacino said of kind people . . . “The kindest people are not born, they are made. They are the souls that have experienced much at the hands of life. They are the ones who have dug themselves out of the dark, who have fought to turn every loss into a lesson. The kindest people do not just exist, they choose to soften where circumstance has tried to harden them. They choose to believe in goodness, because they have seen firsthand why compassion is so necessary. They have seen why tenderness is so important in this world.”
