21Qs - #20: What about Truth?

Well, our world has learned one thing and that is Russia's Putin is not truthful . . .

and can never be trusted again.

It is tragic what is happening to Ukraine and hopefully the world leaders will work to hold Putin and the Russian leaders responsible, accountable for their crimes.

But what of us – the men and women of our country? It appears we are in a 'drift' as to what the truth is because we hear 'your truth'. Tied to that, are these words that someone once said, that is probably truer today that when it was first said . . . “The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it.” The truth matters and we must all pursue it as best we can. And yes, we all know it may hurt at times but when we know and embrace its honor, we can accept it.
