As in: the friendly, compassionate & heroic vs the rude, heartless & despicable.

Looking outward (at others) is a lot easier then taking a hard look at ourselves. Why do we judge others so quickly and often harshly . . . yet don't do so for ourselves?
Most likely it is due to our human nature of looking and judging vs reflecting, learning and trying to live better. Why not join in on the journey to do the best that you can on embracing honor, respect and compassion? So many years ago, the Apostle Paul wrote these words . . . “Encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
His words are a great reminder to the actions that we can say and do as we take on the ups and downs of life. For if we remember that we all are here to see what we can do for good and not for bad - then we are on the right side of life - in pursuit of the opportunities to be friendly, to be compassionate and if needed – to be heroic.
