Today in Outing (9.20.22), just happened to be a fantastic Summer day of 80 degrees and sunny. Kind of what you and I would like everyday to be if it could. But . . . it can't and I am a bit afraid to tell you – Winter will be here before we know it (as they say).

Which leads us to today's few words on
what we are afraid of versus what we are not (and when not, you could say we have the courage to do what we need to do). And to go down this path of thought
(as best we can), we need to first look at:
To be weak, one just needs to ignore the courage that they have within themselves.
By this we mean that too many people
think they have some courage that can
arise from time to time . . . but in reality,
they have so much more then they may ever realize. And that's a shame.
Just think about a loved one in trouble – how hard world you fight for them or help them when they need you? Or what about someone who is yelling at or harming a child or a woman? Could you, would you be able to step up and step in to help somehow?
Surprising, and yes it is true, we all have more in our tank of courage than we think we have. It just depends on the circumstances.
So please, make the time to take a good hard look at yourself.

Are you standing up against the negatives in your life? What about the scary things or the big challenges that you think are just too much for you to step up and to take on? Maybe it's an issue or a cause or a belief that you see that needs to be addressed? Now, will it/those be easy? Probably not. But in the big scheme of things, wouldn't you rather be glad that you 'fought the good fight' as best you could, when you could – versus – having those regrets and wondering . . .
“Why didn't I fight against xyz?”
You can, just step up.
Thanks for thinking on this and remember . . . Deuteronomy 31:6
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
