As of this writing, we are now knocking on the end of July, 2020 and it is a year and a half since the horror of January 6th, 2020. It was a horror because the primary cause of it (the march against the US Capitol, it being broke into, so many hurt and sadly, some died), was due to the lie that our 2020 Presidential election had massive mounts of vote fraud.

And what was frustrating, was that President Trump was aware this was false, yet he was fanning that flame for his desire to stay in office. That frustration was also held by many others who then all came together to storm the Capitol and to do the wrongs that happened that day.
What then have we learned? To be weak, one just needs to embrace lies. It is not that hard and for some it call it true because our society has now embraced the notion of 'your truth'. And that is the flawed path in life (we can have their own experiences and beliefs - but those do not mean they are unchallengeable truths; therefore we need to be careful).
Why? Embracing a lie may make you feel better because the truth can be painful for one reason or another. But when you choose the lie over the truth, I hate to tell you this, you now have started your slippery slide down a path that has a greater chance of getting worse.

For lies welcome a breeding ground in which trust dies, and chaos grows. Which brings about this question. Are you okay with lies? I'm not and I like the path of 'truth, justice and the American way.' And as for the last part of those three, more on that to come. But, until then, thanks for considering the above and don't forget First Peter 3:10-11 . . .
“Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.”
