For those of you that have a child, or multiple kids, or are thinking about having kids,

have you also thought about what it will require to be a parent . . . and hopefully a good one? Add to this – what if you are already a parent but things are maybe not going as well as you think they should be going? Well, consider the following.
It all starts with this: Having a kid is pretty easy, it is in raising them to be happy, healthy and a benefit to society, that is the hard part. To be a parent requires a commitment to do everything that you can – to be the best parent you can possibly be. It means your family comes first and your wants slip down the priority plan. For if you can't put your spouse & your kid(s) first, you are making a mistake that will have horrible ramifications.
To be a parent, means you are now a provider, you are a teacher, you are a protector, you are a disciplinarian, you are a role model. Your words and your actions will be critical to the growth & development of your children. Do it with patience, with commitment and with love and you'll be on the right track.
And don't forget from 1 Corinthians 16:14 . . . ”Let all that you do be done in love.”
