In our pursuit of life, we often see or hear various motivations on the word attitude.

Like: Attitude, is yours worth catching?
And whether that or other quotes catch your attention, it all comes down to what we pursue and embrace.
But before we dive further on this, take a look around at what you are seeing as our country works to transition out of the COVID-19 staying at home challenge.
I know what I see is only 20 – 30% of those out and about are wearing masks and being careful. So does that mean those not wearing masks are arrogant or apathetic or just having a bad attitude on what should or should not be done at this time of possible high risk?
Unfortunately, we really can't tell but there is a good chance that we have a great variety of attitudes across our country at this time. So then – how is your attitude? Are you mad, bad, sad, or glad? Or are you thinking – that is a good question (you're not quite sure).
Knowing this – what should we do? Well, this is a different world and in one way, everyone is trying to figure out the best way forward. That means we may be frustrated by others but we have to realize that they get to make their decisions just as much as we get to make ours. Accepting that leads us back to what we can control – ourselves.
And since we can't control others, we just need to do what we can, to encourage others where we can and to know when we control our attitude and our actions. So, despite others, let's keep it good . . . and remember: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
Side note: In thinking on the above, it reminded me of Navy Seal Adam Brown who died in service of our country. If you ever get a chance to read the book 'Fearless' – you will find a powerful story of a young man who had numerous challenges and stumbles yet kept fighting back to be the man that he wanted to be . . . for himself, for his family and for his country. I know when I read it I thought, wow – the power of attitude is amazing. So Adam, thank you for trying to be the best that you could and for your service and sacrifice for our country.
