I get . . .

As our days, weeks, months and years roll by, we often get to see all the things that we 'get' but do we really appreciate those as we should?

Hopefully yes but most likely, not as much as we should. Take your friends. If you are
like me, you are glad that you have them in your life. Now, in thinking about them . . . does it prompt you to do anything?
At a minimum, I hope at least two things. The first is: do what you can, when you can to show your appreciation for your friends. The second is: know that to have a friend is to be a friend (help others when you can, be one who others like to be around and to have around). Now – as to why? I've said it before and will do so again here. The world has too many jerks and what we need are more friends. And that means we need people who we appreciate.
So please, don't work on getting more things as your time ahead unfolds. Work (as best you can) on getting more friends. And remember . . . friends don't have to agree on all things but they do appreciate and respect each others (it's what friends do).
