Years ago Pat Tillman step away from a high salary NFL contract after 9/11 happened.

And sadly, he died in service to our country. Has his example of commitment to our country and sacrifice been lost? Join us in looking at the following.
We have so many complaining about the few that do wrong yet those that go above and beyond don't get a second look. My concern, if this mindset continues – we will loose more and more of the honorable men and women – from doing what we need them to do . . . but they have the thoughts . . . 'why do it?'
Now why does is this matter?
Because when anyone judges a group based on the bad actions of a few, you create a false perception of that group. We all have seen the words . . . every black is not a criminal, every white is not a racist, every cop is not bad, etc. etc. Yes we have many trying to live lives of honor, we have so many who are not. For example . . . if you steal or swindle people, you are a part of the problem. If you bully, hurt or scare others, you are a part of the problem. And yes, there are so many other that we could add to this list of disgusting people.
Which then brings it back to you and me. Are we honorable or are we part of the group that is trying to take advantage of others? If we are trying to step up, are we trying to encourage and to help others to step up as well or are we apathetic or making excuses?
We need to remember that this is a tough world and if we are not honorable in all that we think, say and do . . . then we are a part of the problem.
So then – what are you?
