for these [prayers] are your daily connection with God . . .

to help you maintain perspective.

There are storms (troubles) that unfold in everyone's life. It is how we deal with those – that make all the difference.

Some shrink back and try to run away, others do what they can to 'tough it out' and then there are those that see the problem – understand what they have caused or what has happened to them; they think, pray and then work to do the best they can, as honorably as they can.

In life, despite all our good intentions – bad things can happen. We always should try to do our best but when things get ugly, that is when we can not step away from or loose hope in our prayers. If we do wrong, we need to apologize, repent and do better. If we are wronged, we need to pick ourselves up, learn from it and to forgive as best we can. Prayer [our connection with God] will help us to sort through the chaos and will begin to guide us in moving forward.

And remember . . . Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6
