The Wisdom of Humility . . .

We as a society do not do that great of a job in teaching humility.

Why is that?

Is it because society, social media, and everywhere you turn, is all about how you look and getting what you deserve???

Or is it because most people never really learn what humility is and have never learned to appreciate it – that there is never an effort of any type to make sure our kids learn this?

Unfortunately, it could be a mix of all of that. The 'speed of society' is like drinking from a fire hose. It doesn't really want any of us to think, because all it wants is for

us to conform and consume. But, it doesn't have to be that way.

We all get to decide what we will embrace & do. Please, if you are a parent – teach your kids the wisdom of having humility. And remember:

Luke 14:11 . . . For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
